Speaker's Bureau

The clinicians at Children's Research Triangle have expertise in the assessment and treatment of complex and at-risk children and their families. We also are dedicated to enhancing the knowledge through training and community education for all persons involved with special needs children. The educational programs provided by the staff of Children's Research Triangle are designed to strengthen the knowledge and skills of professionals, service providers and those who care for children with a variety of special needs.

We have expertise with children (0-21) who...

• have been adopted or lived in foster care
• experienced the trauma of abuse and neglect
• display emotional or behavioral problems, e.g. aggression, excessive tantrums,
• anxiety, sleep disturbances, depression, oppositionality
• have Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
• have difficulties meeting academic expectations
• have developmental delays
• have been prenatally exposed to drugs and/or alcohol
• have FAS or ARND
• exhibit a complicated pattern of behavioral and learning problems that have been difficult to diagnose
• have autism or related diagnoses
